Jack was surprised at how comfortable it was to run on all fours. His arms had extended a great deal in the transformation, making this kind of animalistic behavior not only easy, but beneficial. His claws gripped the slippery forest floor and his powerful back legs worked to propel him around the trees. He and his mother were capable of covering greater distances much more quickly like this than if they had tried to remain upright.
